Quick Start / How to use

Easy, secure access to all your passwords!

Now it's simple to store all your usernames and passwords in one secure place without having to keep track of them all in your head!

When you first ran this program, you were asked to enter a password. This password is required in order to open your list of usernames/passwords, so please make sure you don't forget it. From now on it will be the only password you have to remember!

To enter your first username/password combination, click the Add button. A new window will be shown that allows you to enter three different items:

Username: If you have a username associated with this password, enter it. Otherwise, you can leave this field blank or enter a descriptive name to help remember where your password is used.

Password: This is the password you wish to remember.

Used At: This is the website or location where your username and password are used. If you enter a website, you will be able to quickly open the page in the future.

Once you have entered all the information for your first entry, click the Save button.

Your username/password will now be listed in the Username/Password list.

Repeat these steps to keep track of all your usernames and passwords.

When you want to use one of your usernames or passwords, select it in the list. You can then use the Copy buttons to copy any of the information. You can also click the Go To button to quickly open a web browser window to the location entered in Used At.

If you need to edit an entry, select it in the Username/Password list and click the edit button. A window will appear with all the information for that entry pre-filled. When you are done editing, click the Save button.

If you want to delete an entry, select it in the Username/Password list and click the Delete button.

You can sort your Username/Password list by clicking the column header of the column you wish to sort by. Clicking once sorts alphabetically, clicking again sorts in reverse alphabetical order.

Additional Information

Your list of usernames and passwords is automatically saved whenever you add or edit an item.

For your protection, your password list is saved as an encrypted file (data.enc) in the same folder that you installed this software in. This file is password protected and can only be opened using this software. If you forget your password, you can delete this file and run the software again in order to set up a new password, but all of the information in your username/password list will be erased.

Installing the full version: The full version of this software is a separate program, and installs by default into a different directory than the demo version. Because of this, the full version will not immediately have access to information you entered into the demo version.

To make the usernames and passwords you created with the demo version accessible to the full version, just follow these easy steps:

-Go to the demo version's program folder using Windows Explorer

-Copy the file named data.enc

-Go to the full version's program folder

-Paste the file

-When asked if you would like to replace the existing file, click Yes.

The next time you open the Full version, you will have access to all the information you entered into the demo version. Keep in mind that you will need to enter the Demo version's password to access this information.
